The Millhouse
The Pediatric Day Health Center at The Millhouse is a very special place.
We have created a unique environment with your child in mind. Every
day that your child attends our center the medical attention that is
needed will be available. Your child will be able to engage in
developmental activities that are well planned and appropriate.

Our team of health care professionals, under the direction of our
pediatrician are there for you and your child. We will watch closely as
your child participates in our daily activities and monitor for any changes.
Together we will be able to make modifications to his or her treatment
plan and keep your child functioning at the highest level possible. Our
goal is to provide an environment that is not only therapeutic but a place
where your child can make friends and be challenged by fun and
stimulating activities.
We have put together a team of health care professionals that are both caring and knowledgeable.
Our team members include nurses trained in pediatrics, social workers, and activities staff along with
our pharmacist, dietitian, and therapists, all under the direction of our pediatrician.

Our health care team will talk to you about your expectation of our program along with any concerns
you may have. During your child's first week, our nurse will coordinate a complete assessment of your
child with the other health team members. Your child's pediatrician will be involved in this process
from the very beginning. We want to know as much as possible about your child's medical condition
as soon as possible.

After a complete assessment we will be able to develop a plan for your child. With the input and
approval of your pediatrician we will know exactly what treatments, services, medications and diet
to provide. With all this in mind we will plan your child's day at our facility.
