Barnegat’s pet food drive was very successful. Between the community donations, family members and our staff we were able to collect 418 pounds of pet food. The donations were distributed to St Bernard’s pet pantry, our local animal shelter who also has a community pet pantry so families do not have to relinquish their pets if they can not feed them, and Popcorn Park Zoo which is a non profit rescue in our area.
Congratulations to first time grandma, Christina Bossard from the Health Center at Bloomingdate’s activities department whose daughter gave birth to a beautiful baby girl Hailey Rose, 6lbs 9 ounces!
Kathy Broedlin, RN/VP Sales and Marketing and Nancy Cruser, Director of Admissions, will be appearing live on the Leisure Village West Closed-Circuit TV channel on Monday March 19 at 12:00 noon. Kathy and Nancy will be speaking about the necessity of having an advance directive for healthcare and other pertinent information in place before the event of a health crisis or emergency.
